Popska pear is greenish-yellow to straw-yellow in color with a faint blush. They have numerous dots and a brown line along the length of the fruit. Their fruits are large to very large. Popska pear ripens in early October. They become oily during storage. The tree is strong-growing. It is pollinated by Viliamova maslovkau Pas Krasan and Klapov Lyubimets, but it is a poor pollinator. Popska pear has a very good affinity for quince rootstocks.
