Maturation period: September 20-30. The fruit of the Mutsu apple is large (250 g) with a thick, healthy skin and very good quality. The meat is juicy slightly sweet, sour with aroma. The tree is strongly growing. Good pollinators for the Mutsu variety are the apple varieties: Granny Smith, Melrose and the Red Superb group. The variety is resistant to powdery mildew and scab. The species tolerates low winter temperatures and spring frosts.
